Bid Requests and Acceptance
Creating a Bid Request:
Scope of Services: Customers can create a bid request, also called an introduction request, by specifying a scope of the required Expert Services, including project requirements, deliverables, desired timelines, and any other relevant information.
Bid Types: Customers may specify the structure of the bid request as one of the following:
Hourly Engagement: Human Experts propose an hourly rate for the requested Expert Services.
Fixed Retainer: Human Experts propose a fixed recurring fee for ongoing Expert Services.
Project-Based: Human Experts propose a total fee for the completion of the entire project or specific milestones.
Expert Responses
Submitting a Bid: Human Experts who are qualified to deliver the requested Expert Services may respond to bid requests by submitting a proposal that includes:
Their proposed fee (hourly, retainer, or project-based).
A brief description of how they intend to meet the scope of services.
Relevant experience or portfolio items, if applicable.
Bid Validity Period: Human Experts must indicate how long their bid will remain valid. Customers are encouraged to review and respond to bids within this validity period to ensure availability and pricing.
Customer Acceptance
Bid Selection: Customers may review multiple Human Expert responses and choose the bid that best meets their requirements. Once a bid is accepted, the Customer and the Human Expert will be considered to have entered into a binding engagement for the specified scope of Expert Services and fees.
Final Agreement: Upon acceptance of a bid, the agreed terms (including pricing, timelines, and deliverables) will be documented within the Services. Both parties are required to adhere to these agreed terms, and any changes must be mutually agreed upon through the Services.
No Obligation to Accept Bids: Customers are not obligated to accept any bid and may choose to modify or cancel their bid request at any time before accepting a Human Expert’s proposal.
Human Expert Compensation and Fees
Human Expert Invoicing: Human Experts will submit invoices through the Services. Invoices may be based on hourly work, retainer agreements, or project milestones, as agreed between the Human Expert and Customer.
Auto-Billing and Payments: At the end of each calendar month, Averi will auto-bill Customers for all outstanding invoices submitted by Human Experts. Payments will be disbursed to Human Experts within 7 business days after receipt of payment from Customer.
Matching & Processing Fee: Averi will retain a matching and processing fee equal to 22% of the total invoice amount for all Expert Services. This fee will be deducted from each payment prior to disbursement to the Human Expert. This fee should is a cost to the Human Expert for the customer matching and processing of invoices through the Services.
Customer Payment Obligation: By using the Marketplace Services, Customers agree to timely payment of all invoices submitted by Human Experts for Expert Services rendered. Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension, termination of the Customer’s access to the Marketplace Services, and legal proceedings.
Dispute Resolution: Averi is not liable for any disputes regarding the quality of the Expert Services or any payment obligations.
Changes to Pricing Terms: Averi reserves the right to update this Pricing Policy upon providing at least 30 days’ prior written notice. Continued use of the Marketplace Services and/or Expert Services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
