How to Level Up Your Marketing with Averi's New Features
Look, I'm not here to tell you that another platform update is going to change your life.
We've all been burned by that promise before… flashy announcements that turn out to be a slightly different shade of blue and maybe a new button nobody asked for.
But here's the thing: what we've built with Averi isn't that, I promise.
This isn't a facelift. It's a fundamental shift in how marketing work actually gets done.
And considering that 76% of marketing teams now use AI in core operations—up from just 29% in 2021—the debate isn't whether you're going to adopt AI-powered tools. It's whether you're going to use ones that actually understand how creative work happens.
Because that's what we built here… a workspace that respects the messy, iterative, deeply human process of making something that matters.
The Problem Nobody's Talking About
You know what kills more good marketing than bad strategy? Tool overload.
The average marketer now uses more than 10 different apps, and surprise, 54% of them report communication issues as a result.
That's not collaboration. That's digital whiplash.
Meanwhile, 60% of marketers are using AI daily, but most are cobbling together point solutions that don't talk to each other. You've got ChatGPT open in one tab, your project management tool in another, Slack notifications pinging you into oblivion, and your Google Drive folders organized with the same careful attention as a teenager's bedroom.
Meaning you spend more time managing tools than you do actually creating.
And let's be honest, that's exactly how we got here. We started Averi because we were tired of watching talented marketers burn out not from the work itself, but from the administrative nightmare of just trying to do the work.
What Actually Changed (And Why It Matters)
The latest Averi updates are our answer to that chaos.
Here's what's new, and more importantly, why you should care.
A Real Workspace, Not Another Chat Tool
First, we completely rebuilt the platform around how you actually work. This isn't a chatbot with delusions of grandeur. It's a proper workspace, think Notion meets your best creative partner, with AI that actually understands context.
The new workspace design introduces familiar patterns you already know: breadcrumb navigation, a minimized sidebar view, and a clean interface that doesn't make you feel like you're piloting a spaceship just to write a blog post.
Collaboration platforms that get this right improve productivity by 10%, which adds up to 5-10% of your work time back in your pocket.
You've also got a proper Home page now—your central hub for everything you're working on. No more hunting through endless chat threads trying to remember where you left that campaign draft.
/create Mode: Where AI and Human Creativity Actually Collaborate
This is the headline feature, and for good reason.
/create Mode is our take on how content should be made in 2025: contextually rich AI drafts that you can actually shape into something with soul.
Here's how it works:
Discuss Phase: You have a conversation with Averi about what you're making. Not a prompt engineering exercise—an actual discussion where the AI asks smart questions based on your business context. Want to cite recent studies in your blog post? Averi suggests them. Need to align with your brand voice? It's already baked in from your Library.
Draft Phase: Averi generates a full draft, but here's where it gets interesting. You can adjust the length, change the vibe, or modify the language with a few clicks. This isn't about accepting AI slop and calling it a day. It's about getting 80% of the way there instantly, so you can spend your creative energy on the 20% that actually matters.
Edit Phase: Add your human touch. Insert text, regenerate specific sections, upload or generate images and infographics. This is where the AI becomes your production assistant, not your replacement.
The whole flow creates what we call .AVRI files—native Averi documents that save your work-in-progress state. You can send them to experts, collaborate on them, or pick up right where you left off. Like a Photoshop file, but for marketing content.
And considering that 90% of marketers use AI for text-based tasks, with idea generation and draft creation being the most common applications, this is exactly where the work happens.
The Library: Your Marketing Brain, Organized
Remember when I said the average marketer juggles too many tools?
The Library solves that.
It's a structured knowledge base that stores everything from marketing plans and ideal customer profiles to saved AI conversations and finished content. System folders come pre-built for the stuff you actually need. Suggested folders guide you toward better organization without forcing a rigid structure.
For Plus users, this becomes even more powerful—you can build flexible training and expert-access storage that opens up serious possibilities. Generate a marketing plan in onboarding, drop it in your Marketing Plans folder, and now your AI (and any experts you activate) understand your strategy by default.
Build ICPs in /create mode, save them to your ICP folder, and watch as every piece of content you make becomes more targeted automatically.
This is what effective collaboration platforms do—they don't just help you work faster, they help you work smarter by making your knowledge cumulative instead of scattered.
Smarter AI That Actually Thinks
The Synapse update powering Averi AI is a big deal, even if you never see what's happening under the hood.
Performance and context handling are massively improved. But the real innovation is the new Quick Chat or Deep Think switcher. Think of it like this: Quick Chat is for brainstorms and fast conversations where speed matters. Deep Think activates a reasoning model that processes massive amounts of context for longer, more sophisticated answers.
Why does this matter? Because different tasks need different approaches. Riffing on social post ideas? Quick Chat. Developing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that accounts for your product positioning, competitive landscape, and target personas? Deep Think.
Most AI tools give you one speed: fast and shallow. We're giving you both—fast when you need it, deep when you need that too.
Navigation That Doesn't Fight You
We added real navigation updates that make the platform feel less like a maze and more like a place you actually want to spend time:
A proper Home page as your base camp
Ability to favorite folders, files, and messages (revolutionary, I know)
Library and Marketplace pages clearly separated
A minimized view for when you need more screen real estate
It's not sexy, but good information architecture never is. It just quietly makes your life better.
Tabs (Finally)
Plus users get tabs now. Simple feature. Huge impact.
Chat with Averi AI in one tab, have your expert messages open in another, draft a blog post in a third. You can actually stay in flow instead of constantly context-switching between separate windows or browser tabs.
This mirrors how we naturally work—multiple threads running in parallel, but all in one cohesive workspace. 70% of employees say workplace collaboration boosts productivity and saves time, and tabs are a big part of making that possible.
New File Types That Make Sense
We introduced two new native file formats:
.CONV files: Saved AI chat conversations
.AVRI files: /create mode working files that open in the Edit Phase
These aren't just technical details. They're shareable, collaborative assets. Send an .AVRI file to an expert for final polish, and it opens right in edit mode for them. Eventually, you'll be able to send these to collaborators off-platform, creating a "Photoshop file moment" that drives new users to Averi.
Settings That Don't Feel Janky
The old billing and account settings were, to quote one user, "janky feeling." Fair.
Now everything lives in a unified settings modal that feels familiar if you've ever used Notion, Airtable, or Upwork. Upgrade to Plus, manage billing, check expert payroll, and (soon) add integrations and team members—all in one place.
Small change. Big improvement in how professional the platform feels.
Self-Serve Onboarding
Starting October 22, 2024, we removed the "book a call" requirement. You can now sign up and start using Averi immediately.
This is a big transition for us. It means less control over who comes in, but massively less friction for people who just want to try the damn thing. It's also completely necessary—with 88% of marketers using AI daily and the AI marketing industry hitting $47.32 billion in 2025, people expect to be able to test drive software before committing.
We're betting on the product being good enough to speak for itself.

What This Actually Means for You
Here's the bottom line: Averi is built around one core belief—that AI + human creativity produces better marketing than either can alone.
The stats back this up.
93% of marketers say they create content faster with AI, but the real insight is that 25.6% report AI-generated content performs better than manually created content. When you combine that with another 38.4% saying it performs equally well, you're looking at nearly two-thirds of marketers getting results that match or beat human-only creation.
But here's the catch: that only works when the AI understands your context, your brand, and your goals. Generic AI tools give you generic outputs. Contextual AI workspaces give you starting points worth refining.
We're not trying to replace your marketing team. We're trying to give them superpowers.
Think of it this way: if you're spending your time wrestling with tools, context-switching between platforms, and manually re-explaining your brand voice for the thousandth time, you're not doing marketing. You're doing administrative work that masquerades as marketing.
Averi handles that administrative layer—the briefs, the context management, the coordination between AI and human experts—so you can focus on strategy, creative direction, and the high-value work that actually moves your business forward.
The Path Forward
Look, I get it. You've seen a lot of platform updates. Most of them add features you don't need and ignore problems you actually have.
But here's what we know: 75% of leaders say AI helps their teams collaborate better, and 40% of employees see operational efficiency improvements from digital workplaces. The pieces are there. Most platforms just can't put them together in a way that respects how creative work happens.
We think we've done something different here. Not perfect—nothing ever is on day one. But different in a way that matters.
You can start using Averi today. No demos, no sales calls, no commitment. Just sign up and see if it clicks.
Because at the end of the day, we're not building this for everyone. We're building it for marketers who care about craft, who want to use AI thoughtfully instead of frantically, and who believe that better tools should make you more human, not less.
If that's you, welcome. Let's build something worth making.
FAQs
