I'm Not a Marketer—Where Do I Start?

Phase 1: Understand Your Business Basics (20 min)

Step 1: Open Averi AI and say: "I'm new to marketing and don't know where to start. Help me build a foundation."

Step 2: Averi will ask you questions like:

  • What does your business do?

  • Who are your customers?

  • What problem do you solve for them?

  • What have you tried so far (if anything)?

  • What's your biggest challenge right now?

Answer honestly—there are no wrong answers

Step 3: Averi analyzes your situation and says: "Based on what you've told me, here's what I recommend we focus on first..."

Step 4: Review Averi's assessment → Ask questions about anything unclear

Phase 2: Define Your Marketing Foundation (30 min)

Step 5: Work with Averi to answer three fundamental questions:

Question 1: Who are you selling to?

  • Averi asks: "Describe your ideal customer. What do they do? What problems keep them up at night?"

  • Together, create a simple customer profile (no jargon, just clarity)

Question 2: What's your core message?

  • Averi helps you craft one clear sentence: "We help [who] do [what] so they can [outcome]."

  • Keep refining until it feels true and simple

Question 3: Where should you show up?

  • Averi asks about your audience, resources, and comfort level

  • Recommends 2-3 channels that make sense for YOU (not what everyone else is doing)

  • Examples: LinkedIn posts, email newsletter, simple website, Google ads, local networking

Step 6: Ask Averi: "Why did you recommend these channels for me specifically?"

Step 7: Confirm your starting channels → Don't worry about the ones you're NOT doing

Phase 3: Get Your Personalized Marketing Plan (15 min)

Step 8: Ask Averi: "Create my personalized marketing plan. Keep it simple—what should I do first, second, and third?"

Step 9: Averi creates a prioritized plan showing:

  • Foundation first: Your customer definition and core message

  • Quick win next: One simple thing you can do this week

  • Build from there: Next 2-3 projects in order of importance

Step 10: Review your plan → Ask: "Why is this the right order? What happens if I skip something?"

Step 11: Open Create Mode → Averi creates a simple document: "My Marketing Plan" with your customer, message, channels, and first 3 projects

Step 12: Save to Asset Management > "My Marketing Foundation"

Phase 4: Start Your First Project (30-60 min)
